Originally founded in 1966, The Monday Club was created for people whose mother or adopted tongue was English to meet and enjoy shared activities. Now, based at Mains Ouvertes (127bis, rue Servient, Lyon 3) and equipped with an extensive lending library, members enjoy theme-enhanced meetings accompanied by tea and cakes on the 1st Monday of each month, holidays apart, and, mid-month, lunch at a Lyonnais restaurant. The Monday Club is non-profit making.
