Association France-Grande Bretagne Ile de France
FGB-CRECIB talk (French language). L’industrie automobile britannique 1885-2025
Marie-Elisabeth Deroche-Miles, Honorary Senior Lecturer ( Université de Reims Champagne-Ardennes) and a member of the France Grande-Bretagne Management Committee, will give a lecture on the British motor industry, one of the most diverse and resilient in the world, and a leading force in automotive and engineering research. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, the British motor industry has repeatedly succeeded in reinventing itself — particularly over the past seventy-five years — within an increasingly competitive global market.
The lecture, which will conclude the 2025-2026 season, will take place at the Collège Franco-Britannique, within the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, and will be followed by a tasting of English sparkling wines for members of the France-Grande Bretagne and CRECIB associations.
Please register with AFGB.resa-conf@orange.fr to attend. Proof of registration may be requested at the entrance to the college, along with identification. Registration confirmation will be sent the day before the event.
