STANDARD ATHLETIC CLUB

| Created over 100 years ago, the Standard
Athletic Club is an English-speaking sports and social
Club. Based in the forest of Meudon, just 20 minutes
drive from the centre of Paris, the S.A.C. caters for
families and individuals of all ages and nationalities.

The Club boasts 8 tennis courts (3 all weather, one
with floodlighting), an outdoor swimming pool, a well-equipped
work out room, two squash courts, a full size snooker
table. plus playing areas for football, field hockey
and cricket. The Club often entertains visiting teams
(in nearly all the disciplines) whether they be locally
based or from abroad. Bridge and chess are also played.

Children are well catered for. Not only
are there special areas set aside for them in the main
Clubhouse, there are two outdoor play areas with slides,
swings, monkey bars, sandpits etc. |

Depending on
the season, there are also organised activities such
as art, ballet classes, and swimming lessons. Tennis
coaching is available for children and adults alike.
